Oakville’s Zachary (Zack) Creed studied Professional Golf Management (PGM) and recreation management at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). As a student, he honed his skills through a number of internships at some of the finest courses in the US.
Today, drawing from years of industry experience, Zack Creed is taking his passion for the game to teach and inspire other players as a golf instructor.
After graduation from UNLV, Creed worked at Crooked Stick Golf Club as an Assistant Golf Professional from 2009 to 2012. In this position, he organized an Advanced Junior Golf Program for high school and college golfers as well as aspiring professionals. He also frequently played with celebrities, politicians, and professional athletes.
In 2011, Creed served as a Tournament Liaison for the U.S. Senior Open Championship and for the 2012 BMW (Fedex playoffs) at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana. While working at The Hawthorns Golf & Country Club in Fishers, Indiana, Creed qualified for and played in the 2012 and 2013 Indiana Open tournaments. While working as the co-first assistant professional at the Highland Golf & Country Club in Indianapolis in 2014, he was a finalist for Indiana Professional of the Year.
In 2015, Creed shifted focus to learning the business side of golf as a sales and marketing professional for Midas Event Supply (MES). Among his responsibilities at the company, he was in charge of selling new golf products to the U.S. market, serving as a trade show representative to club managers and evaluating the MES expansion into the Canadian market.
Zack Creed resumed full PGA of America membership in 2019 active status in Canada. He also has plans to launch a new family business this Fall, which will feature golf lessons, simulator play, pro shop, and a snack bar, among other amenities.
